You are here: Blue Sage Realty Home > Home Buying Tips

Buying a new home is a wonderful and sometimes stressful, time in your life. In order to properly assist you, Nance Bouchier & Blue Sage Realty, do a great deal of preparation to make your home buying process a smooth one. There are many great listings all over the Albuquerque area. matching those listings to your individual needs is the beginning of the process. Once you have identified the property that best suits your needs, there is still much work to be done. We look at comparable sales in order to help you determine what price to offer. We write and negotiate your offer. Once the offer is accepted, we order inspections, coordinate repairs, negotiate any repair costs exceeding the amount set forth in the contract, review documents from the title company and help you through closing. We consider it our pleasure to give you the best possible service. I hope you will consider Nance Bouchier and Blue Sage Realty your real estate company of choice, for all your real estate needs, for the rest of your lives.

In order to help us do our job better, we hope that you will:
  • Provide information about your real estate needs-how many bedrooms, baths, square feet, price range, etc. Use our feedback form to help us find the right home for you.
  • Arrange your schedule with enough time to see several houses - 1 to 3 hours. Please arrive on time for your scheduled appointment as we are making appointments at each property and we certainly want to get off on the right foot with those Sellers!
  • Make yourself comfortable. Wear comfortable shoes. If it’s cold out, bring a jacket. You may see vacant houses that don’t have the heating or air conditioning turned on.
  • If you bring children, please take into consideration their tolerance for time spent house hunting. We want to make this a wonderful experience for all involved.
  • Provide the mortgage and title company with all documentation needed for your closing in a timely manner. It is often better to visit a lender before you begin looking at homes,. They can discuss with you what price range you will be comfortable with.
  • Looking for a home is a process. Let me know what you are thinking. Communicate your needs and wants ranging from the type of property you want, financing and the details of negotiation, so we will be able to act with your best interests in mind.

If there is anything we can do to improve the way we serve you, we would like to hear about it. We strive to give the highest quality of service for all our clients and are always willing to go the extra step.
